I had such a wonderful time. So
much to say yet words don't seem appropriate. I love Donna and
enjoyed meeting Senyo so much. I accepted the offer to work
with CATO and will be adopting the orphanage in Tomale. Senyo
told me he was going to get me some info. so I could do a fund
raiser for the orphanage on behalf of CATO. I am sure you
heard about our work at Osu. Well, I am motivated and ready to
go to work on behalf of your organization. I am also
definitely planning on bringing my teenage daughter in August.
I will have more time to focus on the work. Looking forward to
hearing from you, Donna and Senyo as soon as
possible.

Dear Michael,
It is fine with me. I will have
to look at more closely. As I told Senyo, it is my intention
to include this orphanage in Tomale as a major part of my
exhibit next month in which my goals are to raise a
substantial amount of money as the artists, including myself
are donating 10% of the proceeds of the sales in addition to
soliciting donations. What I was thinking of doing is to have
some visual materials along with a graph showing what the
donations will supply to the kids, such as fence, formula...so
the more details I can get regarding their exact needs would
be helpful. Maybe having a press release regarding the outcome
of this would be beneficial as well.
Also, with the help of my friends
who were on my retreat, I think that the total amount of money
donated, not including time, was close to 1000.00 USD(cash and
a bag full of shoes and clothes for the toddlers and
preschoolers, notepads, pencils, books and a couple of toys)
This was for Osu Children's Home.
I am not sure how the
organization is structured but I see promise in perhaps while
here in the US representing your organization in California in
an effort to gather volunteers and make people aware. I have
many avenues to do this such as speaking in various churches
and business organizations in both So. Cal and No. Cal. How
could this work? Of course, my focus would be for the kids in
Ghana.
Let's brainstorm and I am ready
to get working. I feel very strongly that this is work that I
am meant to do. I also heard that you will be touring in the
US speaking about CATO. Can you tell me a little more about
where and when and if I could possibly be involved to assist
in this?

Greetings, I have started the
process of having the complan sent to your offices in Accra to
Senyo's attn. I know that we had provided enough for several
children at Osu Children's Home, including Kevin, before we
left. I'd like this to be a continuos shipment. I found a
source where it is half the price you pay in Ghana including
shipping (shipped from England) so until I can find an even
better cost, I will be sending this as well as researching
similar products for the kids. Please distribute where you
seem fit, maybe for the orphanage in Tomale. It will take
11-14 days to get there. Please let me know when you receive
this shipment.

I have already asked my travel
agent to put together some prices for my return trip in late
July-August. I will be taking my daughter who is interested in
the exchange programme.

One more thing, I wish to include
info. on CATO in my own press release which I have to get out
within the next week, is that OK? It will go in the local
