CATO Responsibilities

CATO is ultimately responsible for all applicants during their stay in Ghana. As an exchange Organisation, it is our duty to provide assistance and guidance to our participants.

These duties include but not limited to the following:
Airport Transfer (Pick-up and Drop-off)
Transfer to place of Volunteer
Participants' orientation and guidance
First Night Bed and Breakfast (Hotel Accommodation in Accra)
School Placement
Host family orientation
Providing assistance and ongoing training to all area representatives who are responsible for you welfare during the entire period of your sojourn in Ghana
Providing a safety - deposit box for the participant's return ticket (optional)
Providing the participant with information for visa application, insurance and country information.
Maintaining contact with the home country representative
Making return flight arrangements for student participant, when necessary
 
Cancellation fees apply. Application fees are non refundable. If cancellation is up to 1 month prior to departure, a programme fee of US$50 is charged. If cancellation is under 1 month prior to departure, 50% of the programme fee is charged. No refund is due if cancellation is on the day of departure and after.Click here to learn more
