The Royal Seed Orphanage
The ROYAL SEED NEEDY HOME is an "Orphange that was never planned".What began as just a good-hearted gesture by a local woman and single parent grew rapidly and now provides 70 orphans somewhere to call home. The dedication of all persons involved, along with the donations received, has helped develop the infrastructure to a great extent. There is however still an urgent need for the basic commodities of life…
Royal Seed Needy Home, near Accra, home for about 74 orphans Odupong Ofakour is a small town about an hours drive from Accra. It is here that Naomi Amenyah began to offer refuge to local orphans as well as raising her own child. Poverty is widespread in the area and the number of children cared for grew rapidly. At the present moment Naomi Amenyah is fostering 74 orphans between 3 and 14 years of age. To achieve this she is dependant on help from her neighbours and other volunteers.
There are currently 74 orphaned and abandoned children and 3 full-time staff members at Royal Seed Needy Home. Naomi Amenya is the amazing woman who runs the orphanage.
Royal Seed Needy Home is located in Odupong Ofaakor, Ghana. A mailing address has recently been set up. It is:

The following email was sent by Eric who is trying to help get Royal Seed Needy Home Orphanage set up and on a better financial footing.
I recently spend some time volunteering at Royal Seed Orphanage and instantly fell in love with the place. Naomi and her children are simply the most wonderful people I have ever met. The problem that this particular orphanage has is it is not known by any outside organizations or Non-Profits. The orphanage has been in operation for about 4 years and currently houses children from ages 2 to 14 years. I came to realize just how desperate the situation is while there. They have no power, running water, real sleeping quarters (most of the children sleep on the floor in the classroom), and very basic toilets which are really nothing more than a raised wooden platform with a hole dug through the ground. There is also a great need for teachers since Naomi can't afford to pay anything. There are only a small number of volunteers who come in from the nearby town but they can only afford to stay for a couple of weeks or so. The situation is very desperate since Naomi has also had people threaten to close her down for lack of sanitary conditions. This situation is slowly getting better from some limited donations but much more assistance is needed. I am currently working on a website for Royal Seed and in the mean time I am trying to get any assistance that I can get and I get a real sense of urgency about this.
